Terms of use

1. About the service

Backstagein is an online platform where ballet artists, crew members and companies publish profiles, availability and auditions, and where users can list items for sale and message each other. The platform is operated by Dmytro Krutii, podnik zahraničnej osoby, Wilsonovo nábrežie 145/48, 949 01 Nitra, Slovakia, IČO 57000786 (see the legal notice).

We only provide the platform. Engagements, purchases and other agreements are made directly between users, and we are not a party to them. We do not check every profile or listing and do not guarantee that information published by users is accurate.

Using the platform is currently free of charge.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 16 years old and give true information about yourself or your company.
• Keep your password secret. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
• One person or company – one account, unless we agree otherwise.

3. Your content

You remain the owner of the texts, photos, videos and listings you publish. You allow us to store and display them on the platform, and to show them in previews and promotion of the platform, for as long as they are published. You confirm you have the right to publish them, including the consent of people shown in photos and videos.

4. What is not allowed

• illegal content, including content that infringes copyright or other people's rights;
• false or misleading profiles, listings or auditions, and impersonating others;
• harassment, hate speech, threats, sexual content involving minors;
• spam, unsolicited advertising and collecting other users' contacts for purposes unrelated to the platform;
• selling items whose sale is prohibited by law;
• attempts to break, overload or get unauthorised access to the platform.

5. Reporting and moderation

Anyone can report content they consider illegal or against these terms by writing to krutiidmytro@gmail.com with a link to the content and the reason. We review reports without undue delay and inform the reporter of our decision.

We may hide or remove content, or restrict or block an account, if it breaks the law or these terms. We will tell you which content or account is affected, why, and on what basis, unless the law prevents it. You can object to our decision by replying to that message or writing to the same address, and we will review it again.

6. Ending use

You may stop using the platform at any time and delete your account yourself in your account settings, or ask us to do it at krutiidmytro@gmail.com. We may end your account for serious or repeated breaches of these terms.

7. Liability

We work to keep the platform available and secure but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for agreements between users or for content published by users. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumers have under mandatory law.

8. Privacy

How we process personal data is described in the privacy policy.

9. Changes and governing law

We may change these terms; we will notify registered users by email at least 15 days before significant changes take effect. These terms are governed by the law of the Slovak Republic. Consumers may also contact the Slovak Trade Inspection (Slovenská obchodná inšpekcia), Inspectorate for the Nitra Region, Staničná 9, 950 50 Nitra, or use the EU dispute resolution bodies available in their country.
